What is this?

In order to reach my goal of 12km, I have created a running plan . After looking at my schedule and difference running plans, I came up with my own plan, in hopes that this plan will help me achieve my 12km goal. 

My running plan

Here is my running plan that I will be following:

Warm up

Here are some warm ups that I will be doing before my runs. Warming up before a run is important as it gives your muscles, bones, and joints a chance to loosen up. It gradually and gently brings up your heart rate, making it easier for you to get into the rhythm that you want to sustain during your run. 

Cool down

Here are some cool down exercises I will be doing after my runs. Cooling down after running is important as it helps to alleviate excessive muscle soreness, keeping you more comfortable, and allowing your body to bounce back before you next run.
